After being in the behavioral health field for more than a quarter century, I’ve worked with thousands of people in prevention and recovery settings, from doctors and therapists to recovery coaches, nurses, administrators, and of course patients/clients. This is group is for people exploring recovery from substance misuse or interested in enhancing or reframing their recovery journey. It is based on the 10-unit Online Recovery Program found in Innovia Life’s Resource Library, where we seek to cover one of these units each week. 2. Filling the Gaps for a Healthier Life – Wednesdays at 5:00 PM EST
Simple, yet effective techniques for people to reduce moments of stress and overwhelm while incorporating a growth mindset.
3. Exploring Significance – Thursdays at 12:00 PM EST
Nothing means anything in and of itself. Everything becomes more or less influential in life based on the meaning or significance we place on it. This is a judgment-free zone to get below the surface and discuss things that really matter in our lives.
4. Professionals Roundtable – Thursdays at 3:00 PM EST
U-PICK is a way to approach living by incorporating these five elements and how they correlate – Understanding, Progress, Impermanence, Connection & Kindness. This is a group for professionals to support each other in balancing work and personal life. After initially developing part of this concept in 2019, I brought U-PICK to Innovia, where it has been the longest running and one of the most consistently attended sessions on the platform since it launched in mid-2022.
